Alabama Adult & Teen Challenge Attends the 2026 National Teen Challenge Conference

Growing Together to Better Serve Those We Are Called to Reach

Some of our Alabama Adult & Teen Challenge team recently had the privilege of attending the 2026 National Teen Challenge Conference, Declaring His Greatness, held in beautiful Arizona. Over the course of four incredible days, we joined ministry leaders, staff members, and partners from Teen Challenge centers across the country for a time of learning, encouragement, worship, and spiritual renewal.

The conference was much more than a gathering of ministries. It was an opportunity to unite with others who share the same passion and calling: helping individuals find freedom from addiction and life-controlling issues through the transforming power of Jesus Christ.

Throughout the week, our team participated in inspiring keynote sessions, practical ministry training, and meaningful discussions that challenged us to continue pursuing excellence in every area of our mission. We were encouraged by innovative ideas, strengthened through biblical teaching, and reminded that God continues to do extraordinary work through Teen Challenge programs around the world.

One of the greatest blessings of the conference was the opportunity to build meaningful relationships with fellow ministry leaders and staff. Networking with others who understand the challenges and victories of this ministry created valuable connections that will continue long after the conference ended. Sharing experiences, learning from one another, and encouraging each other in our shared mission was an incredible gift.

Perhaps the most powerful part of the conference was simply spending time in the presence of the Lord. Through heartfelt worship, prayer, and Christ-centered messages, our team returned spiritually refreshed and reminded that everything we do begins and ends with God's faithfulness. It was a time to pause, refocus, and celebrate the countless lives that continue to be transformed through His grace.

Arizona welcomed us with incredible hospitality, beautiful scenery, and unforgettable experiences. As much as we enjoyed our time away, we returned home with renewed passion and excitement for the work God has called us to do throughout Alabama.

We are grateful for the opportunity to represent Alabama Adult & Teen Challenge at this year's National Conference. The knowledge we gained, the relationships we built, and the encouragement we received will strengthen our ministry as we continue serving individuals and families across our state.
